On May 29, the director of PGMET “Hristo Smirnenski” – Knezha, Natalia Patsovska, and the deputy director of the school, Eng. Nina Tancheva, attended the official opening of the new production facility of “Balkancar Inpac” AD in Knezha.
The launch of the new production at “Balkancar Inpac” Plant is an important step for the industrial development of Knezha and our region. This is Bulgaria’s first production of standard closed 216.5-liter industrial barrels – an innovative and modern venture with real prospects for growth and export.

At the beginning of June, an event was held on the premises of “Balkancar – Georgi Mihaylov” in the town of Knezha, announcing the start of a new production in the metalworking plant. The plant will implement the first specialized production line for metal barrels in Bulgaria. The event was attended by the Mayor of Knezha Municipality, Mr. Iliycho Lachovski, and representatives of partner companies from Bulgaria and abroad.
