At the beginning of June, an event was held on the premises of “Balkancar – Georgi Mihaylov” in the town of Knezha, announcing the start of a new production in the metalworking plant. The plant will implement the first specialized manufacturing line for steel drums in Bulgaria. The event was attended by the Mayor of Knezha Municipality, Mr. Iliycho Lachovski, and representatives of partner companies from Bulgaria and abroad.

After the official announcement, renovations and complete reconstruction of the space designated for the new production began. The production of the items is expected to start in the last months of 2024 and create between 5 and 10 new job positions. The investment aims to meet the market needs both in Bulgaria and in the surrounding countries.
