On May 29, the director of PGMET “Hristo Smirnenski” – Knezha, Natalia Patsovska, and the deputy director of the school, Eng. Nina Tancheva, attended the official opening of the new production facility of “Balkancar Inpac” AD in Knezha.

The company is implementing the first specialized production line for metal barrels in Bulgaria – proof of ambition, entrepreneurial spirit, and the desire to develop Bulgarian industry in a small town like Knezha.

The opening was attended by the town’s mayor, Mr. Iliycho Lachovski, the company’s owner, Eng. Teodor Osikovski, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of “Balkancar Inpac” AD, Mr. Rosen Osikovski, the Chairman of the Bulgarian Branch Chamber of Mechanical Engineering, Mr. Violin Nenov, Eng. Krasimira Bratoycheva – Executive Director of “Balkancar Inpac” AD, as well as representatives of leading mechanical engineering companies in the region.

In her congratulatory address, Mrs. Patsovska expressed her satisfaction that our town has a company like “Balkancar Inpac” AD with a vision for the future, a responsible attitude towards the economy, and an open heart towards vocational education.

She expressed hope for future partnerships, support, and mutual assistance between PGMET and the company, as the activities of “Balkancar Inpac” will be an inspiration and opportunity for our students – future engineers, mechanics, and technicians. All this is for the benefit of Knezha and the country, the educational institution reports.
